Merry Christmas, D*mmit!

We had a great holiday. Backtracking in blog-post time, we had our friend, Andrew Briggs, in town for a show at the Garage, a newly renovated and quite wonderful space for art and music that has opened up this past semester close to, and in connection with, our church. Andrew's work, Freedom in Creation, is with former child soldiers in Uganda and gives them space to move into a creative partnership with one another through photography and art. It's pretty amazing, and we were excited to have him here with us.
Alex played some early in December, and kept the crowd happy with Christmas cheer!

We spent the rest of our break with friends visiting. A big hit was Caitlyn Ghoston, our dear friend Cherrie's daughter, and her many faces -- she was happy to perform for the camera as long as she knew her shots were going to make it out for the blog!
